In 2001, Bruce Adams embarked on a groundbreaking journey by establishing the first Australian-run not-for-profit cricket academy in India. The Bruce Adams Cricket Academy, located in the heart of tribal Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, has provided housing, education, and cricket training to over 1500 students. This pioneering effort was driven by Bruce’s passion for cricket and his commitment to community development.
Legacy of Excellence
Bruce has built an outstanding career as a cricket coach, known for his dedication and expertise in developing young talent. Over the years, he has worked at some of India’s most prestigious cricket academies, helping numerous junior players reach their potential and vie for spots in the Ranji Trophy. His son, Jack Adams, continues this legacy as the director of Adams Cricket Academy. Under Jack’s leadership and with the partnership of Kunal Lal from MatchCraft Sports Management, the academy has successfully organized four tours to India, enhancing its reputation and commitment to cricket excellence.
Our story took a significant turn when Bruce Adams met Madan Lal, a former Indian cricketer and a respected figure in the cricketing world. This meeting marked the beginning of a fruitful collaboration, bringing together Australian and Indian cricketing expertise. Madan Lal’s invaluable insights and coaching methodologies have enriched our academy’s training programs, making them more robust and effective.
Together, we established the Amenity Madan Lal Residential Cricket School in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand. This premier institution offers world-class training facilities, modern classrooms, and comfortable accommodations, creating a balanced and enriching environment for young cricketers. Our partnership with the Madan Lal family underscores our commitment to developing the next generation of cricket talent, blending international coaching standards with legendary expertise.
